Four more pro-life protesters were convicted of violating the FACE Act. The charges stem from a 2021 anti-abortion demonstration at a clinic outside Nashville.
The defendants, Eva Edl, Eva Zastrow, James Zastrow, and Paul Place, face up to six months in prison, five years of supervised release, and fines of up to $10,000, The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee announced. Sentencing will take place at the end of July. Kristine Parks is an associate editor for Fox News Digital. Read more.
"Evidence presented at trial proved that the defendants violated the FACE Act by using physical obstruction over the course of several hours to interfere with the clinic’s employees and a patient, because the clinic was providing, and the patient sought, reproductive health services," a press release states.
