Four killed, two injured as car rams into speeding truck in Kanpur

Four people were killed and two critically injured as a car, with a Delhi registration plate, collided head-on with a speeding truck in Kanpur late last night. This comes days after six people were killed in another brutal accident in the city.
The driver and the helper of the truck fled from the spot after the fatal accident with the car that was headed for Ghatampur.
The police had initially identified Nitin as one of the victims. His sisters, who reached the spot after being informed about the accident, helped identify another man - Sandeep. According to them, Nitin was going to a wedding. Both Sandeep and Nitin are residents of Shivrajpur in Kanpur district.

The third victim, identified as Avnish Pal, is a student of Class 9. One of the injured has also been identified, the police told India Today TV.
The police are trying to identify and locate the owner of the car. The bodies have been sent for autopsy, the police said.
