Four Dead, Three Injured In Denver-Area 'Shooting Spree'

It wasn't clear what prompted the shootings or how they were linked.

A "shooting spree" through Denver and the surrounding area has left four people dead and three injured -- including a police officer.

Authorities say the suspected shooter is also dead. Denver Police Chief Paul Pazen said, "there were four significant locations where gunfire took place."

Police got a description of the car and eventually tracked down the alleged gunman.
