Four accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case were sent to three-day police custody by a local court on Thursday. The violence that took place on October 3 had killed eight people, including four farmers.
The court sent the four accused to police remand in connection with the violence that was triggered after Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Misra's son Ashish Misra allegedly ran his car over protesting farmers in Tikonia in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri.
