Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh passed away after prolonged illness, said a Sanjay Gandhi Posgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) statement in Lucknow, on Saturday. He was 89. Kalyan Singh was admitted in SGPGI on July 4 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in critical condition. He died due to sepsis and multi-organ failure, said the hospital. Mr. Singh was the U.P. Chief Minister when the Babri mosque was demolished by a mob in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992.More Related News
