Former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has been summoned by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Kotkapura police firing case.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has been summoned by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Kotkapura police firing case. Prakash Singh Badal has been asked to appear before the SIT on June 16 (Wednesday). Parkash Singh Badal was Punjab's chief minister when police opened fire on protesters on October 14, 2015, killing two and injuring others. Parkash Singh Badal has been summoned to investigate who gave the orders for firing.
