Former police officers sentenced for stealing thousands of dollars from drivers during traffic stops

Former East Cleveland, Ohio, police officers Willie Sims and Alfonzo Cole were both handed prison sentences after stealing from six during traffic stops.

Cole was convicted on additional charges of having weapons under disability and carrying concealed weapons for stealing guns from two separate drivers in June and July 2021.
