Former NY judge to serve as ‘special master’ in Rudy Giuliani probe
NY Post
A former New York federal judge will serve as the so-called “special master” to review materials recovered by the feds from Rudy Giuliani and his business associates when investigators searched his Manhattan office and apartment.
Barbara Jones, the former judge who now works as a private attorney, will review the materials seized from the former mayor and determine what might violate attorney-client privilege and be kept out of the hands of federal investigators. Jones, who also served as a special master during a federal investigation into Michael Cohen, was appointed by Manhattan federal Judge J. Paul Oetken after prosecutors and Giuliani’s defense recommended her.More Related News
