Former higher education secretary Amit Khare has been appointed as advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for two years on contract basis.
Amit Khare, the former higher education secretary, was on Tuesday appointed as advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for two years on a contract basis.
In a statement, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet said it has approved Amit Khare's name for the role of PM Modi's advisor, in the rank and scale of secretary to the Government of India, on a contract basis, initially for a period of two years.
