Kimberly Potter, the former Brooklyn Center police officer who shot and killed Daunte Wright, a Black man, will face second-degree manslaughter charges, local media reported on Wednesday. The Minneapolis Star Tribune said the Washington County Attorney Peter Orput confirmed the charge, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years prison and a $20,000 fine.
