Fortunato Franco, one of the pillars of India's last Asian Games gold-winning football team in 1962, died on Monday.
Former India international footballer Fortunato Franco breathed his last at the age of 84 on May 10 in Goa. The midfielder was an integral part of the Indian football team which won the Gold medal at the 1962 Asian Games. The AIFF confirmed the news of his death but did not specify the cause of his demise. Franco is survived by his wife, son and daughter.More Related News
