Family of former actor Suryakantham visits Gurajada Apparao Museum, recalling his Telugu literature contributions, including 'Kanyasulkam'.
Former actor Suryakantham’s family members visited the Gurajada Apparao Museum in Vizianagaram and recalled his contribution to the Telugu literature with his great work ‘Kanyasulkam’ among others.
Suryakantham’s son Ananta Padmanabha Murthy and daughter-in-law Eswari Rani came from Chennai and interacted with Apparao’s great grandson Gurajada Prasad and his wife Indira on the museum premises. Ms. Indira told them that the house of the playwright and poet was converted into a museum by the government.
Mr. Padmanabha Murthy said that his mother used to tell them about the historical city of Vizianagaram where culture, tradition and literature flourished.
Bala Subrayamanyam, Jayalakshmi and other family members of Suryakantham were also present.
