Foreign Minister meets UN Secretary-General

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met Wednesday in New York with Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest international development, the current crisis in Ukraine, and the latest regional development including the current situations in Palestine, Yemen, Afghanistan and Libya.
The two sides also discussed the State of Qatar's efforts in peace and development fields, as well as its multiple partnerships with UN institutions and bodies.
HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated in the meeting Qatar's commitment to create an environment of peace, stability and development through mediation initiatives and constructive dialogue.
