Foreign Minister meets head of Hamas Political Bureau in Doha

Doha: The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani today met with Dr Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine (Hamas), who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed the recent Israeli attacks, the events of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, the attacks on worshipers on the Temple Mount and also the recent attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed Qatar's position rejecting these attacks and renewed the State of Qatar's standing by the Palestinian brothers and its categorical rejection of infringing upon Islamic sanctities.
