India's Test vice-captain KL Rahul on Thursday said 2021 will go down as one of the greatest years for the team in Test cricket. The star opener's comments came after India defeated South Africa in the first Test of a 3-match series in Centurion, their first-ever victory at the iconic venue.
India began the year with a historic win at the Gabba, breaching Australia's fortress for a 2-1 series victory with a second-string side. India then went on to come back from behind to hammer England at home to qualify for the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship.
