For Bengal election, Mamata Banerjee gets a new address in Nandigram

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee confirmed that she would contest the Bengal election from Nandigram only.
West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee is all set to contest upcoming assembly election from Nandigram in East Midnapore district of the state. With the release of the list of TMC candidates for the West Bengal Assembly election, Mamata Banerjee put the speculation to rest that she might contest from more than one seat. The TMC has nominated Mamata Banerjee’s close aide Sovan Deb Chattopadhyay from her traditional Bhabanipur assembly seat. Mamata Banerjee confirmed that she would contest the Bengal election from Nandigram only. Earlier, she had announced to file nomination for the Bengal Assembly polls from Nandigram after her long-time party lieutenant Suvendu Adhikari joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.More Related News
