Fodder scam: Tejashwi may take over as RJD chief if verdict is not in favour of Lalu Prasad

Keeping in mind that Lalu might land in jail, the RJD has arranged for a meeting on February 10 in Patna to discuss the course of action.
A Special CBI court on January 29 had completed hearing arguments in the Rs 139.35 crore Doranda treasury embezzlement case involving RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and reserved its verdict for February 15.
Keeping in mind that Lalu might land up in jail again if the judgement didn't come in his favour, the RJD has arranged for a meeting on February 10 in Patna, as per the sources, to discuss handing over the responsibilities of the party to Lalu's younger son and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.

The former Bihar chief minister, who has been sentenced to 14 years in jail in four fodder scam cases, is also an accused in the fifth and final case. It is the biggest of these, pertaining to the illegal withdrawal of Rs 139 crore from the Doranda treasury.
The RJD supremo has secured bail in the four cases related to Dumka, Deoghar and Chaibasa treasuries.
