FM meets Saudi counterpart

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met on Monday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah al-Saud, who is visiting the country. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral co-operation relations between the two countries and the strengthening of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ties, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the region. HE Sheikh Mohamed expressed, during the meeting, Qatar's full support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to combat drug trafficking in all its forms. He also called for intensifying efforts and strengthening co-operation between countries in the region to combat drug trafficking. The foreign minister reiterated Qatar's firm support for the government and people of Saudi Arabia and everything that would enhance its security and stability. QNA
