Sanford, Florida police arrested two parents on Saturday after an investigation led to the discovery of their 3-year-old son with Autism, floating in a nearby pond.
Responding officers learned the boy was diagnosed with autism and his father, Lester Ortiz, said he was last seen 30 minutes before law enforcement arrived. Greg Wehner is a breaking news reporter for Fox News Digital.
The boy’s mother, Barbara Luiz, told officers her son was in the living room of the apartment while she was in the bathroom at about 12:40 p.m.
