Florida man impersonates ICE agent, threatens to deport 2 men, police say
Fox News
According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, a Florida man has been arrested for impersonating an ICE officer and threatening to deport two Hispanic men.
However, the victims were wary of Lopez and recognized that he did not appear to be a law enforcement officer. Peter D'Abrosca joined Fox News Digital in 2025 after four years as a politics reporter at The Tennessee Star.

"The victims, both Hispanic males, told deputies that Lopez, who lives in Indiantown, told them he was an ICE Agent and demanded their identification further threatening to deport them," according to the sheriff's office. "The victims, suspicious of Lopez, drove off and called 911." Follow Peter on X at @pmd_reports. Send story tips to peter.dabrosca@fox.com.
