Flood-hit farmers in Maharashtra yet to get any aid from state govt: BJP's Fadnavis
India Today
BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has accused the Maharashtra government of not providing any relief to farmers affected by last month's heavy rains and floods in the state.
Maharashtra BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said the MVA government has only made announcements and not provided any relief to farmers affected by the last month's heavy rains and floods in parts of the state, especially the Marathwada region. This is the condition of just one farm in Dautpur village in Osmanabad. Hundreds and hundreds of farms in Marathwada are destroyed like this one.. / . .#Flood #heavyrain pic.twitter.com/0mGigWaFfW
Due to the Shiv Sena-led government's "anti-Marathwada" attitude, water was released in rivers from overflowing dams in a careless manner, causing large-scale damage to crops, he said.
