Flipkart denies any PlayStation 5 order cancellations, says only delays in delivery due to lockdown
India Today
Flipkart has denied the reports of some PS5 buyers receiving calls from its support staff to cancel their orders.
Several Sony PlayStation 5 buyers, earlier this week, alleged that Flipkart asked them to cancel their already placed orders for the gaming consoles. The e-commerce major has now responded to these claims in a new statement. Flipkart denied the allegations, saying that it has not asked any of its customers to cancel their PS5 orders. Instead, the company claimed that it has only informed customers of a delay in their delivery at certain locations. The company cited the ongoing localised lockdowns as a reason for these delays. It also promised to work towards delivering these orders at the earliest. The statement, however, does not fall in line with what the customers have been posting online about the whole incident. The issues have been recorded with orders placed during the May 17 sale of PS5 on Flipkart. The e-commerce retailer told IGN India about the issues.More Related News
