Flight instructor dead, student injured in plane crash in Maharashtra's Jalgaon

A pilot died and his trainee student was injured in an accident in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district. Their training flight crashed near Wardi village in Chopda area of the Satpura mountain range.

A flight instructor was killed and a student injured when their two-seater training aircraft crashed in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district on Friday. Shocked to hear about the tragic crash of a training aircraft that belonged to the NMIMS Academy of Aviation, Maharashtra. Captain Nurul Amen (28) had taken off with his trainee Anshika Gurjar (22) for a training sortie from the academy's airstrip at around 3 pm. However, the Tecnam two-seater plane came crashing down near Wardi village in Chopda area of the Satpura mountain range at around 3.45 pm, Academy Director Air Commodore Hitesh Patel (retd) told PTI.
