
Flash flood risk grows for coastal Texas and Louisiana as Tropical Storm Nicholas takes aim

Tropical Storm Nicholas is making its way toward Texas and Louisiana, threatening to pour rain on the region for much of the week and leave some communities flooded.
Having slowed to a near stand-still in the Gulf of Mexico, the storm could strengthen significantly. A hurricane watch is in effect from Port Aransas to Freeport, Texas, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.More Related News
