After Haryana Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa’s car was attacked on Sunday, the Sirsa police have arrested five people under a sedition charge in connection with the incident.
The Sirsa police arrested five people on Thursday under a sedition charge, among others, over an alleged attack on Haryana Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa’s car during a farmers’ protest. Farmers carrying black flags on Sunday had assembled outside Chaudhary Devi Lal University, where Gangwa had gone to attend a function in Sirsa, and raised slogans against the government. Purportedly, a few people had pelted stones at his vehicle while he was coming out of the university.More Related News
