QNABeirutAn Amiri Air Force plane from the Qatari Armed Forces arrived on Thursday at Rafic Hariri International Airport with 70 tons of food, the first shipment of food aid provided by the State of Qatar to the army of the Lebanese Republic.A military delegation from the Lebanese army leadership, including Staff Brigadier General Ali Shareef, who represented Commander of the Lebanese Armed General Joseph Aoun, and a number of diplomats from the State of Qatar to the Lebanese Republic, received the first shipment of aid.The State of Qatar has announced that it will provide the Lebanese army with 70 tons of food products every month for a year, as part of the State of Qatarâs efforts and firm commitment to supporting the Lebanese Republic and people, as well as its belief in the importance of launching joint Arab work..
