After dating each other for about 5 years, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have now upgraded their relationship to man and wife today. The wedding took place at Mumbai’s Vastu building where both Alia and Ranbir own individual apartments. After the first photos of the couple went viral from their post-wedding terrace shoot, Alia and Ranbir finally made their first public appearance and posed as Missus and Mister!
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are now married! Alia, who had limited her social media posts around her wedding, finally shared dreamy photos with 'husband' Ranbir from their intimate wedding. The newlywed actress posted beautiful photos with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and we can't keep calm! Alia looked just as we imagined her as a bride - mesmerising! And Ranbir? As Rakhi Sawant rightly said, Shehzada (prince)!
Alia's heartwarming post could be read, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia (sic)."
It was reported that there will be a baraat ceremony for Ranbir Kapoor ahead of his wedding. However, IndiaToday.in informed that the baraat won’t take place. A source close to Ranbir Kapoor informed IndiaToday.in, "A report said that there would be a baraat. But sources confirm that there has been no permission taken from the local Pali Hill authorities to have any baraat procession on the road leading up to Vastu. The only extra permission given is for police protection and security to increase in and around the building post 2 pm. So there will be no baraat.”
