First Indian University set to go operational in Qatar

The first Indian University is set to go functional at the Commercial Avenue at Abu Hamour where it will offer various programmes in arts, science, commerce and business from September. Named Milestone International Education Savitribai Phule Pune University (MIE SPPU) Institute of Higher Education is fully licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar. Functionaries, during a function, held at Commercial Avenue on Monday, said MIE SPPU Institute of Higher Education’s admissions and academic team has started functioning in Qatar since June 2021. The institute will launch its academic programmes governed by the Savitribai Phule Pune University’s academic governance structure in the month of September 2021. The function marked the formal exchange of the documents of handing over the Commercial Avenue premises to the university. This was held in the presence of Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) Dr. Khalid Abdullah al-Ali, Indian ambassador Deepak Mittal, MIE chairman Ali A. Latif al- Misnad and other dignitaries.More Related News
