Firefighters union praised for 'significant non-endorsement' after backing Biden in 2020: 'Huge win for Trump'
Fox News
The International Association of Firefighters declined to support a presidential candidate Thursday after previously supporting President Biden in 2020.
The IAFF added, "The IAFF Executive Board determined that we are better able to advocate for our members and make progress on the issues that matter to them if we, as a union, are standing shoulder-to-shoulder. This decision, which we took seriously, is the best way to preserve and strengthen our unity." Lindsay Kornick is an associate editor for Fox News Digital. Because the union had endorsed President Biden in 2020, this was seen by many as a win for Trump and a failure for Harris.
