Fired from RSS-run school for not donating for Ram temple, alleges UP teacher

Yashwant Pratap Singh, a schoolteacher of Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Jagdishpur locality, has also asserted that the school has held back his eight months’ salary.

A teacher in UP's Ballia district was reportedly fired from an RSS-run school after he refused to donate a sum of Rs 1,000 for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. However, the institution has denied the charge. Yashwant Pratap Singh, a schoolteacher of Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Jagdishpur locality, has also asserted that the school has held back his eight months’ salary. He had been reportedly handed over a receipt book for collecting funds. He said he deposited around Rs 80,000 collected for it.
