Fire in Kolkata’s Colootola rages for 9 hours, brings back Bagri nightmare

As per reports, a massive fire engulfed a four-storey commercial-cum-residential building at 11, Colootola Street, Burrabazar, Kolkata on Monday morning.

Panic gribbed residents of Kolkata as the horrors of the Bagri market fire returned on Monday morning after flames engulfed a four-storey commercial-cum-residential building at 11, Colootola Street, Burrabazar, Kolkata.

According to a report published in the Times of India (TOI), the fire raged for almost nine hours, till late in the evening and the fire department was continuously trying to plunge fires on the second and third floors of the building, almost 200m from Bagri market. However, no casualties were reported in the accident.
