India Today
Initially, NCP leader Nawab Malik had made allegations that Wankhede owned a bar in Navi Mumbai for which he got a license when he was under age.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against NCB's former zonal chief Sameer Wankhede for forging age and documents to obtain a bar licence.
The FIR is filed with Kopari Police Station in Thane for sections related to forgery, cheating, giving false information on oath and others.
Initially, NCP leader Nawab Malik had made allegations that Wankhede owned a bar in Navi Mumbai for which he got a license as an under age. Malik had claimed that Wankhede was 17-year-old when he received the licence for the bar in Hotel Sadguru in Navi Mumbai.

An initial investigation by the local excise office also revealed that on the day Wankhede was granted a licence for a bar and restaurant on October 27, 1997, he was only 17, way below the stipulated age of 21.
After the complaint, regular hearings were held by the state excise department and Wankhede's lawyers had put forth their side.
The bar's license was cancelled earlier this month.
