‘Find a bed’, an initiative by a youth-led organization, is helping covid-19 patients by providing them with real-time information of hospital beds in their area.
As India grapples with the second wave of pandemic, hospitals across the country have been reporting a shortage of beds and medical supplies. In order to help the critically ill Covid-19 patients search for available hospital beds in their area, a youth-led organisation has started the ‘Find a bed’ initiative. India's International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN) has started 'Find a bed' initiative with a team of around 26,000 students working across 160 cities in the country. The website lists all available beds in real time to help Covid-19 patients who are in urgent need of medical care.More Related News
