FIFA rejects Denmark’s bid to politicise World Cup 2022

In a rebuke for politicising the World Cup, FIFA has rejected a move by Denmark’s World Cup squad to wear shirts in training with a slogan to criticise Qatar. The Danish players were planning to wear shirts with the slogan “Human Rights for All”. FIFA is strictly opposed to use of political slogans on and off the field.
