Fewer women than men taking Covid shots in India's vaccination drive
India Today
Data on India's Covid-19 vaccination drive shows fewer women have taken vaccine shots in comparison to men.
On April 10, a little less than two per cent more men got vaccinated than women. Two weeks later, on April 24, the gap widened to 12 per cent. And on May 6, the day when the new infections stood at 4.14 lakh in the country, nearly 24 per cent more men were immunised than women. This gender gap in India's vaccination drive is reflected in cumulative numbers as well.More Related News
