Hours after losing the La Liga match to Villarreal, the FC Barcelona squad boarded a long flight to Australia where they will be playing the final game of the season against the A-League All-Stars at the Accor Stadium in Sydney on Wednesday.
Head coach Xavi Hernandez has taken 20 players down under. Ferran Torres couldn't travel to Australia due to personal reasons. The forward had not completed the required vaccination programme in time, the Spanish club said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Riqui Puig and Oscar Mingueza are both in the Catalonia squad for a friendly against Jamaica in Girona. Martin Braithwaite is also staying behind as he has been called up for international duty with Denmark, and Neto and Lenglet are not in the squad for family reasons.
Also absent from the travelling party are the injured Dest, Pique, Nico, Pedri, S. Roberto and Eric Garcia.
