Khorramdin’s father has confessed to drugging and murdering his son, before cutting up his body and leaving it in the trash.
Iranian filmmaker Babak Khorramdin has allegedly been murdered by his parents and his dismembered body has been found in garbage bags and a suitcase in Ekbatan, western Tehran. The incident is being seen as an act of "honour killing" after the Iranian director had an argument with his father over his unmarried status, Arab News reported. Comes within a year of a child being beheaded by her dad and recent beheading of a 20-year old gay man by his brother. "Honour" and "morality" have been cited as motives in all cases. It's almost common knowledge in Iran that such crimes carry a max prison sentence of just 10 yrs Khorramdin’s father has confessed to drugging and murdering his son, before cutting up his body and leaving it in the trash, the report quoted Mohammad Shahriari, head of the Tehran Criminal Court as saying. Both the parents have been taken into custody over the heinous crime. Iranian police said further evidence of the murder was found at the family home.More Related News
