There will be no Marathi or nikah ceremony but a simple wedding that includes self-written vows. The grand shaadi will take place in the romantic backdrop of hills in Khandala where Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi have a farmhouse. According to a new report now, the couple's wedding guests have been asked to arrive by noon today.

While we are eagerly awaiting the pictures from the wedding, a report by The Times Of India suggests that the guests have been asked to arrive the venue by noon. The wedding preparations are also very hush-hush inside the farmhouse. The report also said that the celebrations will have not more than 50 guests. Cars have also been booked for the wedding, but many of the guests will be arriving in their own cars.
Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding is set to take place at Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's Khandala farmhouse today. The couple will exchange vows, instead of a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony or a nikah. The couple zeroed in on this decision, keeping each other's religious backgrounds and beliefs in mind. Their wedding guest list includes Meiyang Chang, Gaurav Kapoor, Samir Kochar, Monica Dogra, Ritesh Sidwani and Rhea Chakraborty. Reportedly, a Mumbai reception has been planned by Farhan and Shibani for their industry friends.
