Farewell, FAANGs: Big tech stocks sink and Dow falls more than 500 points
CNN
Many investing experts have been predicting for some time that there will be a shift away from big tech towards value stocks. It might finally be happening.
The broader market fell sharply Monday. The Dow dropped by more than 500 points, or 1.5%, in early trading while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq were down 1.9% and 2.4% respectively.
Growth stocks in particular have been pummeled so far this year due to fears about inflation slowing the economy.
