
Family Day 2025: Here's what open and closed in Toronto on Monday

The Family Day long weekend is here and this year the holiday falls on Monday, Feb. 17
The statutory holiday, one of nine public holidays in Ontario, comes as the city is digging up from a winter storm with more snow in the forecast.
The Ontario government created the provincial public holiday in 2007, naming the third Monday in February as Family Day.
Many establishments will be closed Monday, but some will be open. Here is a list of what's open and closed on the day.

The Eaton Centre will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be regular mail collection and delivery.
Drug stores:
Select Rexall and Shoppers Drug Mart locations will remain open. Check with your local store for their holiday hours.
