Fake input tax credit racket of Rs 22 crore busted in Maharashtra's Thane, 2 held

The Thane CGST department has busted a Rs 22 crore fake input tax credit racket and arrested a father-son duo, who are the proprietors of two separate firms.

The CGST (Central Goods & Services Tax) department in Maharashtra's Thane has busted a Rs 22 crore fake input tax credit racket.

Based on intelligence of the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU), Mumbai CGST Zone, Thane Central GST Commissionerate arrested a father-son duo, who are the proprietors of two separate firms.
