During questioning, Kolkata vaccination scam accused Debanjan Deb told police that his father was a deputy excise officer who wanted him to be a government official. While Deb appeared for UPSC, he failed to crack it but lied to his father that he got through.
The Kolkata vaccination scam accused Debanjan Deb rented a godown to sell sanitisers and masks during the pandemic but without showing his fake IAS identity to the owner, the Kolkata police said on Friday. Kolkata Police arrested 28-year-old Debanjan Deb on Wednesday for allegedly posing as an IAS officer and organising a Covid-19 vaccination camp in Kasba area, where actor and Trinamool Congress MP Mimi Chakraborty had also got her jab.More Related News
