Fact Check: Video of firecrackers at Taiwan festival shared as Italy’s Euro win revelry

An old video from a religious festival in Taiwan is doing the rounds on social media with the claim that it is the victory celebrations in Italy after it won the Euro Cup.

This was only the second time that Italy won the Euro Cup, defeating England in a nail-biting penalty finish. Many social media users were critical of the video, alleging that certain people only related pollution to Diwali.
