Former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh, whose scathing letter led to the resignation of Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh, has moved the Bombay HC seeking cancellation of the FIR registered against him.

Rohatgi cited different dates, including that of Param Bir Singh's petition in the Supreme Court and another in the Bombay HC against former Maharashtra home minister and NCP leader Anil Deshmukh. In his petitions, Param Bir Singh had accused Anil Deshmukh of ordering policemen, including suspended API Sachin Vaze, to collect Rs 100 crore from businesses in Mumbai.More Related News
