Some people have a knack for turning trials into triumphs. Jarrett Adams is the exemplar.
"I grew up in a tough neighborhood on the south side of Chicago," he said. "But you know, we grew up in a family where everyone was always home. Someone was there, whether it be my aunts, whether it be my grandmother."
But after graduating high school, Adams took a trip away from home that would change the course of his life.
