Nushrratt Bharuccha has been nominated in the Best Actress category at the Busan Film Festival. The actress is ecstatic to be nominated for Netflix's anthology Ajeeb Daastaans.
Nushrratt Bharuccha has got herself the Best Actress nomination at the Asian Contents Awards for the Busan Film Festival. Nushrratt is the only actress from India to feature in this category. Nushrratt, who starred in the short film titled Khilauna directed by Raj Mehta as part of the Netflix's anthology Ajeeb Daastaans, is currently shooting for her upcoming film Janhit Mei Jaari in a remote village in North India. Nushrratt got the news from her manager and team and was ecstatic about the nomination.
Talking about it exclusively to India Today, Nushratt said, “I had a very strenuous day today shooting in this remote place under the scorching sun with thousands of people bombarding our set. I was the only person in this crazy heat and humidity shooting non-stop on set and smiling and dancing after hearing the news. It definitely feels happy to see your name up there with so many International names from different parts of the world."
