Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal has praised the Indian cricketing structure and said that the legendary cricketers from the nation except MS Dhoni played a Test match as their last game. India have not compromised with their red-ball cricket, Akmal added.
Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal has praised the "mindset" of Indian cricket, saying with a pool of almost 50 players, three teams can be fielded at once. Kamran has reckoned that red-ball cricket hasn't been compromised in the Indian cricketing structure. He added that almost all the India legends except MS Dhoni ended their careers with a Test match. “India have not compromised on their red-ball cricket. At school level, India have two-day, three-day cricket. Today, they have a pool of 50 players because Indian cricket has given a lot of importance to Test cricket. Among all the legends of Indian cricket, except MS Dhoni, no one has retired after playing white-ball cricket. All the others played a Test match as their last one. That gives us a great idea of their vision: how to build a team, how to bring in players into the Indian set-up,” Akmal said in his YouTube channel.More Related News
