Ex-con ‘Jeopardy!’ champ Winston Nguyen — now teacher at elite NYC school — faces scrutiny amid explicit photo probe

A “Jeopardy!” champ and math teacher may be free without charges after his shock arrest in front of students at a swanky Brooklyn private school — but he hasn’t escaped scrutiny.
Winston Nguyen, 37, remains under investigation in a still-murky Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office probe centered around sexualized images, a prosecutors’ spokesperson said Monday.
Nguyen was arrested last week at Saint Ann’s School — an elite Brooklyn Heights pre-K to 12 school that boasts famous alumni such as Lena Dunham — and released Saturday without being charged, sources told The Post.
Officials deferred prosecution on unspecified accusations pending further investigation, including looking through his computer and phone, the sources said Monday.
Nguyen’s attorney, Frank Rothman, said prosecutors are continuing an investigation into digital devices.
He said he expects they’ll contact him once that probe is finished.
