A video that has gone viral on social media shows a 'zombie bug' moving around. The video has over 10 million views.

Well, these insects, dubbed "zombie cicadas," are under the influence of Massospora, a psychedelic fungus that contains chemicals such as those found in hallucinogenic mushrooms. These deadly parasitic predators can turn their insect hosts into “zombies” and make them do everything they want. A video of a zombie bug was shared by Massimo. The video has over 10 million views.
In the now-viral video, you can see an insect walking. The insect is neither alive nor dead. You can also see it has certain body parts missing making it look quite deadly.

A user in the comments section also shared a video of a zombie snail. “This zombie snail. A parasitic worm Leucochloridium has taken over its motor functions and eye stalks, making them into caterpillar mimics so birds will eat them. The worm can then reproduce in the bird's GI tract, eventually transmitting via its faeces,” he wrote.
