Euro 2020: Thorgan Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne fire Belgium to round of 16 after 2-1 win over Denmark

Euro 2020: Denmark took the lead through Yussuf Poulsen with the second quickest goal in Euro history but Belgium hit back in the second half with goals from Thorgan Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne to secure their second win of the competition.

Belgium became the second team after Italy to qualify for the Euro 2020 round of 16 after they came from behind to beat Denmark 2-1 in their second match of Group B in Copenhagen n Thursday. This was Denmark’s first game since Christian Eriksen’s collapse in their last game. Eriksen remains in a nearby hospital after suffering cardiac arrest in the team’s opening game against Finland. Both sides' fans and players participated in a tribute to Eriksen before kick-off as a giant Denmark shirt with the player's name and number 10 was displayed on the pitch at the Parken Stadium.
